This piece wasn’t planned at all but, in light of recent events, I feel the need to do it. You may or may not agree, either way it’s fine. I will give you my arguments about why I am convinced we should be very careful about silencing people. Why we should find balance between regulating big tech while not allowing government too much interference, and finally, how we can do it.

Let me tell you a personal story first, very relevant to the subject.
Several years ago my little brother started telling me stuff about survival of the white race and some other nazi supremacy crap. As I dug deeper, I realised he found this info on some obscure web sites on the net and from some youtubers. I got really freaked out, as I find very few things as ignorant as racial supremacy bshit, and I knew my little brother was very intelligent…I couldn’t figure out how he bought that crap. We had long walks and discussions about all kinds of things, and I dug slowly. I realised he started listening to death metal and was fighting often in school…so I figured out the nazi stuff was a way for him to channel this incredible frustration he felt. In this case, channel it towards somebody he never even met as he hasn’t travelled much. I explained to him I had dated African women, showed him examples of exceptional individuals of different races who accomplished so much…and I spoke to him of genetics, biology, evolution. I knew he had a scientific mind and was passionate about nature so I used logical arguments to convince him that a greater genetic variety will give better results overall. He…
